Cypress Bay Television Production has built a local reputation as one of the largest clubs at Cypress Bay High School. Our Television Production students begin their journey in our Television 1 class learning the basics while slowly working their way up to creating our daily morning show, Today At The Bay, in TV 2 and TV 3. Then, students are promoted to the Aftershock class. Here our Television students and coworkers put together a twenty-minute show filled with human interest feature stories, relevant news, all of the Bay’s sports, and entertaining segments such as parodies, restaurant reviews, and movie reviews.

Outside of Cypress Bay, we produce weekly sports highlights for the Broward County Athletics Association. CBTV also broadcasts most of our school's football and basketball games live at http://cypressbaytv.com/live.php These games are later broadcast on our local Advanced Cable Communications Network.

CBTV is also a nationally known high school program. Each year we attend 2 National conventions, Skills USA Nationals and Student Television Network (STN.) As well as 2 statewide competitions, Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA) and Skills USA States. We have acquired not only a statewide, but a nationwide reputation by placing in the top 3 at these competitions.
